What I learned from TD experience
• How to handle resistance from Sr. management or even executives and the team on Agile approach
• Executives or management resistance: don’t have dedicated resources to support agile such as product owner, less control and no signature required
• Product Owner (assigned) luck of knowledge and sometimes a authority sometimes to make a business decision, that will slow down the agile sprint delivery.
• Agile sell points: Adopt the changes quickly, less PCRs then before, frequent demos to business users and adjust quickly
• Team resistance: especially the team with over 20+ years mainframe developers and designers, they don’t feel the agile bring much value, but take them too much time on the daily standup meeting, groom meetings and they prefer let them along to get their job done.
• Benefits: less documentations, easy adopt changes, the business/technology comingle in one environment and show the result right away… easier to get the buy in by business.
