Cheat Codes for Building SaaS

Are you looking to build a successful SaaS business? Do you want to understand the key strategies and tactics for…

In this Monday’s blog post, I will trace 7 new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ideas that I’ve researched and believe will revolutionize the industry over the next ten years. You may be curious as to why these 7 SaaS innovations will revolutionize the industry when I could simply pontificate and provide you with a list of random SaaS innovation ideas.🧐 The main reason for this is that in this modern era, people are no longer interested in hearing ideas from you; they are interested in hearing, “What can this solve?” Furthermore, SaaS is entering a critical phase of transformation.🌍

Once you’ve read this memoir and understood the principle that I am trying to outline, you will be able to jump right into one of these concepts and take it to the next level, it’ll help you to boost up the strategy for your current SaaS venture. Let’s dive in❗❗ Ideas are just begging to be heard.😱

  1. App for Hiring Temp Workers

If you’re looking to create an app for temporary workers or to build it more advanced, there are a lot of people out there who need one. Construction companies, for example, spend a lot of money every year trying to find temporary workers through ads on Craigslist and other sites. It’s a huge hassle for both employers and workers. 😣

The perfect solution would be to create a more futuristic mobile LinkedIn for these workers. This mobile application will be designed to facilitate the recruitment of temporary employees. It would help them manage their assignments, stay in touch with their employers, and access resources while on the go. This would revolutionize the way temp workers do their job and contribute to the workplace. In addition, mobile apps give temp workers real-time job alerts, so they can quickly search for new jobs and apply for them. Not only does this improve their chances of getting hired, but it also improves their overall job satisfaction and financial stability. This mobile application will be designed to facilitate the recruitment of temporary employees.📞

2. Amazon Seller Assistance

Before I get into it, I know that there are already Amazon seller utilities out there, but they are not effective and do not meet the requirements. Some users within the Amazon seller community argue that there is no single tool that can provide comprehensive services, but rather, small tools that perform minor tasks or that do a bit of work.

Wouldn’t it be better to create some tools that can help improve Amazon's rank for the most popular products, provide fast data like Jungle Scout, manage your taxes and sales, and all the other aspects of your business tool🛠️ at a reasonable cost?

3. Hunt for Tax Accountants

Some individuals are employed by multinational corporations or accounting firms and encounter numerous issues with their fixed asset database software, to produce certain reports.

From the opinions of different individuals👨‍💼, I think it would be beneficial to have an application that uses AI and would enable them to categorize and classify assets based on more accurate criteria that are more closely aligned with state requirements for calculation. This would ultimately result in a significant reduction in manual calculation time. The software that exists for their usage is not very effective and does not provide the necessary filtering and report preparation capabilities, and they spend a considerable amount of time producing ad hoc reports.

It could be a bit challenging but I think that software with such functionality would be a worthwhile investment and that the time-saving would be worth the cost💵.

4. Application for Agricultural Workers

Agricultural production workers face a variety of challenges, such as wasting several hours on repetitive, unproductive paperwork. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to generate all of their paperwork electronically instead of having to write each form by hand🖋️? It would be beneficial for them if there was a software program to facilitate the management of their safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans. It’ll be updated every year to keep up to date with all of the new regulations that affect the industry.

After gathering information and feedback from different people who work in this field, I believe that there is no suitable software for this job. Such software could transform the functioning of the entire agricultural sector🌱.

5. Induce Slides From Prompts

I know there are already some services out there, but they’re less effective. I think it’d be cool if we could create software that could automatically generate slides based on prompts. Like, PowerPoint slides or keynote slides could generate a whole deck of slides based on a lengthy prompt, or each slide could generate a detailed description for each one. I know there are a few out there that you can link to, but they don’t do much. Of course, you don’t need to artificially generate all the images in them — you could get a deal with an existing stock photo service, or maybe some other way. The important thing is that it must be effective.

For example, you can work on:-

✔ Generating a slide deck from an Excel sheet📊

✔ Generating a slide deck from a Microsoft Project File📁 or

✔ A board presentation for a board meeting📈.

6. Rival to Plaid or Yodlee

These are aid that integrates with banks across the country and enables fintech developers to connect to one platform instead of hundreds of integrations.

The issue with both of these contributors is that they don’t work very well from what I’ve heard from people who use them. There’s still a huge amount of unsanctioned data and bugs, and there’s just a lot of stuff that doesn’t work. I understand it’s a complicated problem to fix. Remember, when we tried to get our credit card 💳merchant accounts before Stripe — it was a nightmare and it was hard to fix. Then along comes Stripe and everything worked out.

I think it’s not a waste of time to go for it and invest in this concept👩‍💻 that could work with existing players that aren’t doing their best to serve the market.

7. Net Worth Trackers

This is the idea that you can also hear on a podcast. It’s called Money for the Rest of Us where the host J David Stein talked about net worth trackers.

So, you integrate them into all of your financial accounts, and they assist you in determining whether or not your portfolio is diversified across various portfolio drivers. This is something that eliminates the need for manual labor. Many users use a spreadsheet, which aggregates the figures based on various factors such as your expenses, additional cash reserves, and asset allocation percentage.

It looks like there’s no easy way to do this right and they always come back to doing it manually. According to J David Stein, the reason for the poor performance of net worth trackers is because of the poor performance of Plaid and Yodlee. So this brings us back to the sixth idea.

“It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen”.

by Scott Blesky

In order to have a successful SaaS business, you need to have innovative and high-impact ideas that eliminate the issue of community. I hope this blog motivated you to work😇! We’ll see you soon. Until then, goodbye👋.
